Michael is the part time office administrator for Making Waves. He set up this website using the free content management system Silverstripe and assisted with the desktop publishing of the "People you know Places you go" project reports (summary).  As a contrast to his work for Making Waves he teaches basketry and living willow construction at local community permaculture garden Ecoworks on the historic Hungerhill allotments site 

In 1999 He recieved a Mind Millenium Award to train in website design and programming and build a website for a Nottingham community organisation.  As a result of this he found employment with Nottingham regeneration charity Tanc ltd as an administrator with various I.T. duties including financial administration, website design and maintenance, desktop publishing and Microsoft Windows support to charity  workers. This experience is valuable for the similar role he plays in Making Waves.
